N900 in 30secs – Mauku or Witter?
Nokia Conversations have released a video about the Mauku application. For those of you that don’t know there has a been a massive cry out for a good twitter/facebook micro blogging app. On the s60 platform pretty much everyone used to use Gravity, which had everything from searches to auto updates and the list goes on.
Mauku I must say is a pretty good app, and it does have a desktop widget (even if it only shows 1 status at a time). I believe the app is still been worked on and suggestions are been taken and added as time goes by.
I myself prefer to use an application called witter (I don’t have a download link for this as it’s still in extras-testing). The reason for this is that the UI I find easier to use. You can configure how often you want each of your feeds to update. At the moment I don’t think it supports facebook. As with Mauku the author of this app is constantly making changes and taking suggestions.
